Conservative Party Poster

The poster, approximately 30 x 20 inches in size, summarises the ward results for the 1947 Harrow UDC election.  The election was successful for the Conservatives, who won 10 of the 12 contested wards, with 13 councillors elected to Labour's three.

It should be noted that the poster gives slightly different results for Roxeth and Stanmore South wards compared to those printed in the Harrow Observer.  The result for Wealdstone South ward is significantly different to that in the Observer; there is compelling evidence that the figures on the poster are the correct ones for this ward.
